Hymer toilet

The toilet in my Hymer will not flush. When you press the button I can hear the pump run but no water comes out and yes I have water in the main tank.

Possibly the solenoid valve 12 volt. Allows the water to run around the pan

Is the m/h new to you? Has it ever flushed?
Some toilets have their own tank rather than drawing water from the main tank.

Are you getting clean water in the compartment the cassette slots into? You may find the pipe work is damaged and water is leaking out before it reaches the bowl, if you do an internet search you should find a page that shows how to fix thetford toilet issues.

Had it 6 months it flushed once but other half doesn’t know what he did to make it work

Are you sure there isn’t a separate flush tank for the cassette ?

Push the button a second time. You may have the Thetford toilet vent fan fitted and that may be the noise you hear, not the water pump. The first push activates the fan and the second push activates the flush.

I suspect the problem is the solinoid, when you press the switch it turns on the pump and opens the solinoid.
Open the cassette door and you will see it at the top on the left with the water pipes going to it.
