Hi
Our 2019 BMC-I-690 has a queen bed, by pushing the end of the bed frame and lifting the back of the frame it's possible to tilt the top of the bed up to create a bit more space in the bedroom area during the day. If you try and sit on the bed it just slumps back into the flat position. I've seen reference in older Hymer brochures referring to the queen bed having a 'reading position', implying the bed should lock into the upright position? The manual that came with ours doesn't even mention the ability to tilt the frame so that's no help unfortunately. The latest brochures don't mention the 'reading position' so perhaps the feature is no longer available?

Any queen bed Hymer owners out there that can advise? Thanks.

I read by lying on my side on a flat bed. I wish my varifocals worked like that though. The position you describe would be useful for TV watching though. I’m sure you could figure out a way of jamming it in place with a bit of wood?
