Hymer electric step buzzer and display?

Hi All
My electric step has developed an issue! It folds out and retracts as normal by the switch inside hab door and the drivers seat, but the step display on the DT 202 panel has stopped displaying and also the buzzer has stopped working? Any ideas anyone? Could this be a fuse and if so where would I find it?

I think if the step works it's not likely to be a fuse but more likely that the button switch that gets pressed when the step is in is staying in because it's gummed up. The controller therefore thinks that the step is in and doesn't sound the buzzer when you start the engine.

I like the alarm to work, so that I don’t drive off and bash it against anything at the side of the road.

Project step microswitch £ 3.67

My project 450 step has a switch that is pressed when step closes. Found that it is also used as courtesy light switch on cars, from a fiat uno I think. Part number is Intermotor 51840. Several are listed on ebay and they dont all look the same! Mine came without the rubber boot and fixing screw...

How are you all?
Haven’t crawled underneath yet, but the display came back on today, so I think a dirty/corroded connection to sort out!
Just for info, I’m booked into appuljack on 14th February to sort out the solar, whoopee!!

Up date on step.
yes switch under step was sticking, so good squirt of wd40 and actuated a few times and now all is good. Thanks everyone!
