Just starting out..
Hello folks,

The internal electrical panel on our moho has never functioned properly since we got the van in May this year. It is an IT95 panel, with switches for 12v (on / off) switches to read the voltage of starter & leisure batteries, switch to read water tank level, all supposed to read out via a single gauge.

The backlight functions fine, as does the switch to toggle the 12V on and off. It also displays an LED when connected to 240V. However, none of the functions for battery level, or water level do anything other than illuminate the backlight (i.e. the needle on the gauge stays still).

I've had the panel out and checked visually for problems, but couldn't see anything obvious. Any ideas /experiences with similar?

Moho is Hymer C524 on 2.8 Ducato with 29K miles only on 2005 plate.

Thanks in anticipation!

Had the same setup in a 2006 fiat hymer. All worked well but by you’re description it’s resistance related so possible in the panel. Some good sparks could check this and maybe repair but it’s just finding that person.

Hello Macca,

Thanks for the reply. I have a test meter so could look at testing the unit, function by function. I guess it would be sensible to check there is power to each connection- sender units sometimes fail too.

My suggestion would be to first check the meter seviceability by selecting one of the battery readings with the test meter connected across the meter?
