Hellooo. The habitation door lock on our Hymer 2013 has just given up today. It’s a barrel lock I think. Is this the sort of thing we can buy online does anyone know. We are pretty handy and youtube I’m sure will tell us how but where do we buy these locks from please? The internet is not too helpful but I’ll keep trying. I guess I will call Hymer direct if no joy

Picture of key please, will tell us which lock barrel is fitted.

To replace the lock barrel on the hab door you will have to take the inner door skin off as the lock has a circlip on the rear of it. Also you will need the barrel removal tool that resets the pins.

It may not be the lock that's the problem, I thought my lock barrel had gone. Turned out a nylon guide on the door had slipped just needed repositioning, only held by self tappers. I still had to take the door skin off to do it.

Thank you. I’ll take a look. 😊

Sorry …. Is the barrel removal tool something I need to buy or something I should have been given with the van?
