The van has carpets throughout. At the door we have a runner on top of the carpet to stop the carpets getting dirty. The runner tends to move about and ends up getting rucked up quite quickly. I can't think what would stop this. Will double sided tape stick to the carpet and the runner? Something better?

We use a Dunelm Marvel mat at our hab door. It has a rubber type backing that grips well on top of our van carpet.
When it gets a bit grubby, it just get a shake out to get rid of grit and then gets bunged in the washing machine.

We use the plastic matting that you usually put in your cupboards to stop things moving about loads in the pound shop or home bargains

If you have an old half used tube of silicone, [ and who doesn't  ] smear that across the back of the mat, working well into the weft.
Allow to dry. That normally anchors mats to most surfaces. When I was "motocrossing" we used to do that to the back of our goggle straps,it kept them in place, even when you got a full face of roost off bikes in front you, and most of them were :giggle::rolleyes:.
