Autotrail Apache 632

Hi gang!

We have an Autotrail 632 Apache ‘12plate. It has the standard door lock/central locking system as far as I know. We always stay on camp sites or at the very occasional Britstop and tend not to lock the doors as the internal alarm keeps going off. I have been planning our trip to Southern France for our summer hols next year and we’re likely to stay in a couple of Aires on the way there n back, this has led me to think about being secure in the MoHo at night. I don’t seem to be able to lock it from inside and have the internal movement detectors de-activated. What am I doing wrong? Key fob for van is in photo below. Also is this the standard Fiat fob or is it a dedicated Autotrail one?

TIA!

Russ

If it's a Ducato you should have a press button door lock switch on the dash next to the hazards switch.
Don't use the key fob

Hi
the standard Fiat does not have alarm. there is a switch on the dashboard to lock all doors, plus the remote. but no alarm.
we have a strike back alarm fitted which enables us to alarm the doors while we are inside are you sure you do not have an aftermarket alarm fitted if as you say the alarm keeps going off

Different vehicle, our alarm you press the fob lock/alarm button to lock the doors and then immediately press it again and it beeps meaning the internal sensors are deactivated.

Mine is a similar key fob and if I press it to set the alarm and lock the doors and then immediately press again and it gives a small beep , then the doors are locked and the internal sensors deactivated

The dash board central locking doesn't activate the alarm compared to the key fob which activates the motion censors and door security alarms that are fitted

Excellent! Thanks Alex! I didn’t spot that button on the dashboard and We’ve had the MoHo since September 2019!

Thanks very much for all your responses.
Cheers!
