I have now had 2 X 4 nights trips not on EHU since having my solar fitted 2 weeks ago.
According to the Victron app my batteries ( 2 X 100ah lead acid) voltage has dropped to about 12.50 - 12.55 volts each night before being charged back up the following morning.
Looking online I have read that 12.5v is 90% SOC.
That would suggest that my usage is about 20amps, 10amps from each battery.
Does that sound correct ?

Yes, sounds about right, 20Ah of usage is quite light usage. Provided you read the voltage when it's dark, and there's very little load on the batteries. You have to be up early/late to do that at this time of year.

Yes read at night with no load and no solar.
The reason I am unsure of my usage is because I was told that my 45 watt mains TV run off an inverter would use about 4amps an hour and the usage compared to battery voltage doesn't add up.

The 45 Watts will be a maximum which is 3.75 amps at 12v plus inverter inefficiency so about 4.1 amps.
In practice you may find the TV is only drawing 3 to 3.5 amps.

Don't forget that you will still be putting a little charge in whilst it is light so topping up all the while.

I'm not complaining 😂
Just surprised my usage is so low and that the solar works so well.
If it's sunny my batteries are back on float by about 11am.
Even when we had 2 days of heavy cloud and rain on the third day it was sunny and the batteries were on float at 1pm.

hi, have a look at your tv, most tv,s run at 19volts, if you are running it of an inverter you are taking the voltage up to 240 then back down to 19, you can get an inverter that just increases the 12 up to 19 and uses less power

Errrm... Think you might find they use almost the same power.

I can't see the point of getting another inverter as the one I have runs the TV fine and the solar easily replaces whatever it takes.
The TV is the only thing that is run off the inverter.
