so no use for EU storage anymore than?6 months.
and I take it that to 'reset' the 6 month clock the vehicle needs to leave the Schengen area for no matter how short a time period? It been 6 months for years and never stopped folk keeping their MoHo in storage
its just they may start enforcing things now we're out
no it has to be out for 6 months.Uk is the sameand I take it that to 'reset' the 6 month clock the vehicle needs to leave the Schengen area for no matter how short a time period?
Mmmm now that could be an interesting concept if it is so Geoff !I may be wrong on this, but I thought the rules about re-registering are national country rules not EU-ones. If it is an EU rule can somebody cite it please, as I have an interest.
If national, cannot one have the vehicle in one country for less than 6 months and then move it to another for the same?
Of course a non-Schengen resident driver would be subject to the 90 in 180 day rule but not the vehicle.
For this discussion we do not need to go into the law in some countries(e.g. Spain) which prevents a 'Resident' driving a foreign registered vehicle.
