How do you fit your bin liner?

My solution is to use bin bags with integrated handles and just push the lid through the gap where the handle is. Once pushed back, it is held in place by the lid. Works for me.

My wife has tried that but unfortunately the gap at the back of the lid is just too narrow 😔

Glad it's not just me who has problems fitting a bin liner in these things.
Go to a Pound store and get a small bathroom swing bin. One of these served me well for 10 years until I changed my motorhome earlier this year which came with the nonsense bin in the door.
Guess what Mike, I've got one of these "not fit for purpose" bins in my new van too. 🤬 I'm trying to work out how to remove it altogether and put a proper one there. I'm using spring clips at the back under the lid to secure the bags at the moment. Also have to remember to only half fill it as it's impossible to remove when full through the letterbox hole, especially when sharp plastic trays etc rip the bag and spill all the contents all over the floor.

Been there and had to clear up the mess! 😄

We took the door bin off and use a proper free standing one

Our hab door bin contains our binoculars and a dustpan and brush .

The Benimar bin is useless. Sold the Benimar and bought a Chausson. Same useless bin. We use it to store the bunjy cords and the table cloth for the outdoor table
Sounds like an expensive, (failed), way to get a better bin.😉

If you struggle to fit a bin liner, do what we did - take it off!

We removed ours on a previous MH as it was fitted to the hab door and got in the way when going in and out of the mh.

We have a stupid little bin in our Hymer that no bin bags fit until we found some in Macodona in Spain that fit so we just buy ½ doz rolls when there
In Spain now with a Macodona next door can you tell me what bins you buy , this will save me selling the Homer and looking for a van with a better bin 😁

I meant Hymer, bloody predictive text

Can you feed the top of the bag through the gap between the back of the bin lid and the bin when it’s open? The bin lid will then close on the bag, hopefully keeping it in place.

Otherwise as others have said - a store for torches, bungees, etc.
That's what I does

Thanks you probably saved me £20k the bin was sending her in doors mad , we need a new van were muttered this week 😦

If you have the little bin like we have it's a right pain, those linners are a bit too big but the best of the bunch for that bin & dirt cheap. Stock up on 4 or 5 packs when in Spain.
