Hope JJ is okay ?? As it looks like his area is the worst affected.

I bet Australia would like some of our rain. Longest drought and hundreds of wildfires over there. I feel for those drowning or losing their property to fire.

Worst is up North.

Rain rain rain rain...

QMJ flooded...

Hymer standing in large puddle.

Stuck onsite here as front wheel drive Kangoo can't get up the muddy slope until it dries out a bit.

As long as you are stocked up with FB pies you will be okay. :xgrin:

We've just spent 24 hours in slightly scary gale force winds and torrential rain in Southern Portugal at Ameixial which is up in the hills away from the coast, but quite exposed.
It really did feel like we were at sea for a while. :Eeek:
At least the MH has had a good wash, rince, blow dry, wash rince, blow dry, wash, rince, blow dry etc.........?
It's eased off a bit today but still raining.
I believe they're calling it storm Elsa which will clear off into Spain by Sunday. ?

We’re forecast wind and rain today, just rain tomorrow then full sun on Sunday. I dry rambles next to our site is a raging torrent, first time we’ve seen it.

Pretty rough at Conil today rained most of the day this was at the beach around 16.00

Elsa was the first of two storms this week, the latest one is Fabien.

It’s been wet and windy down here in the far southwest of Portugal, but not too bad. While having my bacalhau com natas for lunch today I was watching the news on the TV in the restaurant, it looked really bad further north.

Sunday onwards looking much better, as you say.

JJ get your mate with the tractor to pull you out and come here, you would be very welcome, we have a spare room, let us know. :xThumb: Bob.

A borehole JJ, is this the start of major development of qmj? Caesars Palace in Portugal maybe? :xgrin:

All has changed here (near Albufeira). Sun first reappeared at about 1500 on Friday, mixed sun/cloud yesterday but no rain and sunny now. Time to make hay methinks.

Fab weather here now (in Alentejo, a little north of the Algarve, on the west coast). Not a cloud in the sky, no wind, and 21C in the shade.
