So are weTo answer my own question
Arrived approx 1.30ish and plenty of spaces, even managed EHU round the left hand
side, a quiet night but bloody hot
Anybody know what the limit is regarding numbers, as there seemed to be plenty of mohos arrived after us and it wasn’t rammed
Anyway moved on now down to Bayeux and on the municipal site![]()
The town's tourism website list it as 160 spaces with 130 ehu sockets. https://www.ville-honfleur.com/decouvrir-honfleur/honfleur-et-ses-visiteurs/camping-cars/Allegedly, there are 240 spaces.
There are some much nicer ones around but it serves a purpose. We enjoyed the town and had a lovely meal. Veulettes sur Mer just down the coast was lovely. Right near the beach and a little bread van came around at 9am.Our first aire, not for us, dry dusty and busy.

We love Honfleur too. The aire is what it is and serves a purpose. We've also stayed on the site but that gets waterlogged at times so isn't always good for mohos. We must be very strange, we love honfleur, all the rough and ready and all nationalities, the excellent town, everything really what we like in Aires.
Wish we were there now instead of the back of a pub in Rhyl.
We are staying there Monday l don’t suppose you remember the name and approximate location .We enjoyed the town and had a lovely meal.
The services aren't that bad there compared to some Aires OK by me.We were there second week of August it was rammed midweek. All the money they are making and the Water fill/toilet dump are the worst I’ve ever coming across.
Needs serious upgrading
Great place to stop for a lovely town, not dusty if you go to the right hand side all tarmac. Our first aire, not for us, dry dusty and busy.
We had one on the road to prestatyn , robin hood camp.We love Honfleur too. The aire is what it is and serves a purpose. We've also stayed on the site but that gets waterlogged at times so isn't always good for mohos.
We used to go to Rhyl a lot, we had a static caravan just up the coast at Gronant.
I can see why you would like the location but I'm in 6m pvc and need outdoor space to chill, plenty sitting outside their vans on the aire but its not for us and spending more than a few hours in the town would cost an arm and a couple of legs. The services aren't that bad there compared to some Aires OK by me.

The town is not expensive as long as you don't eat on the harbour front.I can see why you would like the location but I'm in 6m pvc and need outdoor space to chill, plenty sitting outside their vans on the aire but its not for us and spending more than a few hours in the town would cost an arm and a couple of legs.
most of the unsanitary conditions are caused by people misusing the fresh water taps, washing boots, dishes, pots and pans, dogs, their feet etc , and yes, even seen someone washing a cassette .. all under a running tap.. which is then flowing over the ground causing a mess..I know there are worse, but the services at Honfleur are pretty insanitary.
Something like Pere Camembert. It’s a Camembert restaurant but did lots of other good food as well.We are staying there Monday l don’t suppose you remember the name and approximate location .
