Dear All,
In 2014 after Dan almost died from a post-surgical infection, we decided to take some recovery time and set off in a motorhome around Europe. 6 years on we're still going! We decided to leave the stress of our old lives behind and search for a more simple and peaceful way of living with less chasing. Then in 2017 a stray dog joined us. She was unexpectedly pregnant so a few weeks later we had our hands full! Now Leela and 3 of her pups are still on board with us as we travel and have adventures together. Currently we're lockdown in France where a friend of friend has kind let us stay in their house and like everyone, are having adventures in new and different ways.

Over the past couple of years, Dan has developed a real passion for writing and has self-published several books. 3 books are each discrete adventures we had in the mountains on hiking trails and available from Amazon very inexpensively as eBooks or otherwise a print option is also available. Each book sets the picture in the first chapters as to how we have ended up on this new journey as well as focusing on that particular adventure, the places we reached, the wonderful people we met and the unexpected events that unfolded beyond what we could have imagined.

Dan has also created 2 poetry books. One which details the arrival of Leela and her pups through a beautiful combination of poems and images.

We're currently working on 4 more manuscripts, one very exciting one covering a much wider timescales about our travels as a whole and one about the dogs adventures, but in the meantime we would love feedback or reviews from anyone on the books we've already produced.

As lockdown is providing a good opportunity to try new things... new recipes, new movies, new books... I thought maybe some Funsters might give a new author a try out. He's had some great reviews already as you can see by visiting Amazon so it's hopefully not just me being biased when I say I think they're great and he's done an amazing job at capturing our adventures in a funny, engaging and yet very honest way.

I'd love to hear from you and be so grateful if you'd consider sharing the links to these books with friends or family who might also be interested in hiking, poetry or interested in trying the works of a new author.

Happy lockdown reading! Thank you all!
Esther
