So last night scanning through the van life vlogs that pop up and I took a screenshot of this from Roaming in Raymond motorhome:mad:.

To be fair they were complaining about it as well. The question is how can the justify that. its bloody outrageous.
I assume they will now claim they are motorhome friendly

All we can do is make people aware and boycott the whole area. I love Wales and that area but that is ridiculous Its a car park that had no overnight parking before the change

So even if a motorhome stops just for a hour it’s still £30.00? Not that I would pay the £30 for 24 either😁

Just dont go
It's there for information only.

Don't worry I would not dream of staying at that price but also I won't go to that area at all, if thats how they feel about motorhomes.

That’s probably what they want. No worries.

If they don't want us so be it, I don't want to go there anyway.

I live just down the road from Laugharne and I can tell you they are very anti motorhomes. We have stopped over a few times in the winter by the estuary and there have been a few knocks on the door and scowls.

Funny thing is that many of the so called locals are incomers.

Shame. It is a lovely town with great walks.

Hi.
Derby County council offices at Matlock went through an influx of people about 70 ? They moved into the area and started to try to get the Quarries closed. There had been mining/quarrying in the area since Roman times..........Complaints...Noise from blasting/dust/lorry movements. I think they Mothballed Middle Peak and Middleton Mine Two quarries near Wirksworth,as the new equipment at several other plants could cover the supply from Buxton. Funny old world. Just read, its alledged that Prince Charles is moving from Windsor Castle when he becomes King because of the noise from Heathrow flight paths.......... Prince William and his family are taking it over.
Question. Do the " Windsorian Buses (y) " still launch from the sunken bus station in Windsor, heading for the Castle wall ,before turning left or right ?. They did in 47'. :ROFLMAO:
Tea Bag

Pay & Display Parking is killing high street trade, plus asking us to buy 2 tickets if our van is longer than one space, which it is.
Fed up seeing signs saying max stay 24/72 hours, even though you are asked to buy a ticket to cover that period it then says No Overnight Parking, surely that's a contradiction, No overnight sleeping is much easier to understand, just wake me up if you see the guy with a machine coming.;)
Here is an example of the signage at Chesil Beach Weymouth, Dorset. Popular with many Sea Fishermen for beach casting.
Quote: 18 spaces. Free parking. Max stay 72 hours, no overnighting. Open 24 hours a day.

Apparently there's Buggerall to do in Laugharne once you get there anyway! (Apologies to Dylan Thomas)! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
And the carpark floods if there's a strong high tide.

Good afternoon,

The good news is that France has dropped pre departure testing, so things can only get better

Wales does seem to have a real problem with motorhomes. Loads of car parks up here in north wales have height barriers set at around 2 metres. just what their problem is i can't seem to find out.

Perhaps a clue on height barriers is the name "car park", not van park, lorry park or motorhome park.

Some may see that as a bit harsh on motorhomers. Why is it that, just because our interests are in motorhomes it seems there is upset that we can't just go anywhere and everywhere, when perhaps those who created a facility didn't put it there for motorhome use?
