Maybe they're adjusting to the reality that this might be a scam ?
I hope they come back and give us the story, I'm sure they'll get plenty of help and support.
They won't be the first or the last to fall for it, so as much as they may feel like numpties now, they'll get over it.

If you go to the Companies House website you can see their latest accounts. (oh dear)
Also, their website currently doesn't work.
Both of these would make me very cautious!
It will be a Mercedes or a Fiat. It cant be a combination of both.
