Welcome.
Very envious as you've got some beautiful broads ( ;) ) up there and the inland waterways are superb for motorhoming too.
If you still have some of the boat fenders hang on to them as you'll find 'em very handy when parked on French aires.

Welcome Beross We changed from boats to motorhomes in 2004 and no regrets.
Love boats but always the same bit of water , fewer limits with wheels.

Hi Welcome from another Norfolk resident. We gave up boating last year and purchased our Carthago. Our European plans took an obvious hit this year but we have done Cumbria, Derbyshire, North Yorkshire, Scotland and a lot of East of England. Still consider ourselves novices but developing. I’m sure you’ll love it, especially when your adventures are not limited by weather conditions and bridge failures 🤣

Welcome

Motorhoming is almost the same as boating except we're not restricted to set routes (rivers/canals etc) and if you fall out of the door you don't get wet unless it's been raining heavily!

Remember to wave at other MH's and laugh at the Tuggers putting up their awnings!

Thank you everyone for the welcome and offers of help hopefully will be up and running in about 3-4 weeks.
We will no doubt be asking you for help,we just feel this is probably not the best of timing with Covid on the increase.
Thanks again

Hi and welcome, went from a boat on the broads to motorhome 11years ago. Very easy to adapt, use motorhome a lot more and cheaper running costs. Would not go back to a cruiser, but now sometimes tow a small boat with me.

Are you buying from a local dealer?

Back again just to say really like the relaxed style and humour of replies.

Have you worn the keel out yet?😂😂😂

I’ve been around a long time don’t think my keel is as good as it was along with other parts. In answer to Icantremember yes we are buying locally.

I guess that will be from Becks, they have a good reputation but I have only been there to browse. What sort of boating were you doing, we had a Flybridge Cruiser which we used to take across to the Netherlands, Belgium etc.
