I am not new to Globecar vans this is my third one.
Started with a new Trendscout on the Ford Transit very pleased with it had it three years and traded in for a van we did not have to make the bet up each night .
So bought a new 2012 Globescout 130 motor had that eight years and did 69k but it got flooded in five foot of water on a campsite in Spain (Friday the 13th 2019) complete write off . We had to fly home and bought a new Swift Sellect 144 130 motor had this 10 months what a load of rubbish no end of faults . Traded this in for a new Rapido V55 Panel van at there Devon branch August 2020 , We had this one week !! told the dealer to come and take it back First timed it rained water running out of the roof light units from the rear roof light to body seal.
The dealer Highbridge Caravans Center Somerset. Were very good and went out of there way to arrange a full refund. When I went down to see them then had Just taken on Globecar’s and had a full range of stock in so we bought a new Globescout Plus 165bhp of a Peugeot boxer The dealer paid for the tracker and new solar panel to be fitted and gave me a refund on the Rapido September 2020 .
So only had one Trip to Spain so far .
But have managed to make a few alterations and additions fitted Rear view camera next to High level brake light , ( with out drilling holes in the body work.Cable routed through brake light, and re slodered the wires )Reversing camera next to Nº plate lights, Auto retract Step by adding extra relay extra lights and sockets etc .
