Heosafe Garage Door Security Locks (1 Viewer)

German van a few pitches from me with Heosafe locks fitted to his garage doors, they are externally very smart and compact looking. Not cheap but what price for security (cheaper than the expensive buttock clenching Hymer offerings. Anyone have any views or fitted them.

The owner kindly allowed me to take photos, his van is a Carado coachbuilt he has five of these locks fitted, garage doors, cab doors and hab door all with same key. Unfortunately not possible on an A class.

Not sure why you would fit habitation locks to the garage doors only to fit a flush outside appearance .

The habitation door lock can also be supplied with a internal replacement skin for the Carardo/Sunlight that covers the lock .

My van is a newish Hymer, I am considering fitting additional security locks to garage doors so not quite understanding your reply.

Sorry should of made myself a bit clearer . The Heosafe habitation lock means you need to drill a series of holes 20 mm and 4x 12 mm diameter holes and the lock only has a throw of about 19 mm max and a Milenco or Thule are half the price and cover the door by about 50 mm and require less drilling .

For security the cheaper locks are better and the only advantage is the Heosafe is flush but are they a deterent like a chunky looking lock ?

I had them on my old mh that @mojo now has and have had them fitted to my new mh. Added security in my mind.
You can also get them so that the same key fits all the locks.
Its not the size but the quality.

Gives us peace of mind when leaving the van on aires.Also now fitted a lock to our side locker which now houses the expensive Lithium battery.
