Kate is your immobiliser the small button on they key fob with the ignition on.

Our Sigma alarm has a small keypad on the dash for use if the buttons don't work, the number is in the manual.

Thinking about it ours is an S series.

You should have a very small keypad hidden away somewhere .. ours was high up on the windscreen ... and hopefully you have the necessary code.

Hya Kate, do you have a small key pad tucked away somewhere ?, usually on windscreen at top, if so you should have a 4 digit code to overide system.

Does the alarm arm and disarm? Or is it just immobiliser?

many many years! since I was a kid
have you tried a hard reset? disconnect van battery negative terminal for 5 minutes, refit and try immobiliser again

if not could be an internal relay
