Help sourcing a 15A connector in the UK please

Can anyone help me source a connector from a UK supplier please?

A family member has acquired a VW camper T2, Australian import. They want to keep the van completely original as it has a ton of history, it even has the original paint(!), so they do not want to put a regular UK connector on there.

Anyone know where we might find a suitable connector from a UK suppler so we can make a cable up?

The one on the motorhome is male. It has three pins. Are you suggesting another Male connector is the right connector?

Maybe a more helpful suggestion might be the way forward for the OP ?

My apologies, my mistake.
Because of the skanky state of the one pictured I assumed the op wanted to replace that manky looking thing for something a bit more presentable.

Yes indeed, and alas we had no luck in buying them one from overseas ?

Hence a new quest for a UK source.

I tried RS Components site, they seem to have something similar but not on their UK site, also only overseas ?‍

I fear they may have to (very reluctantly) bite the bullet and take the connector out of the van and replace with a regular connector...

The plug looks like it comes out of the housing????? Maybe the manufacturer can help with the UK plug to fit the housing????

I suspect you may struggle to buy a Aussie standard plug in the UK as there would be little call from them.

Have you tried Ebay as they say they will post internationally?

Alas that's where our troubles started, waiting weeks on end for something to never arrive, then even more weeks on end battling with eBay trying to get it resolved.

You're probably right Mike, I'd imagine there is zero demand, i think I'll try and break the news to them gently...
