We had to have our windscreen replaced in Spain yesterday and they disconnected the reversing camera screen. Cannot work out how to reconnect. Can anybody help please?

Some photos and make may help folks to assist you. (y)

Why on earth do they need to disconnect the reversing camera? For your windscreen?

Is it a camera monitor that sits on the rear view mirror? If so...They would remove the mirror and camera and tucked the cable just inside the roof lining.

Normally on the back of the Mirror Monitor there is a plug type socket (Female) . The Male end will be the cable tucked inside your roof lining somewhere? Search for the connector and just plug in. All will be sorted once connected.

Just had a look at the one we have spare. It has on the monitor a length of cable with a male plug on the end of approx 10 inches. The plug has 7 terminals on ours and connects to the female just inside the roof lining .

Bless.....A scart is a socket you have on the back of the TV . The socket you have there is the one I am on about and is a Video 6 pin or 7 pin.. so it does not matter. Just check inside the roof lining for its corresponding part. it will be tucked away by the Courtesy /cab light im sure .

You are looking for the plug on the right side of this picture. That is the corresponding part to the mirror plug you have in your photo.

OH said it was a scart! Have searched and cannot find the other end in the roof lining. Have emailed our dealer to see if they can help. Thanks for your help.

The power to it, is the cable I have attached in my previous post. That is fitted to your vehicle from the battery . The plug connector will be most definitely in the roof lining possible just tucked away from rear a little too much? It will be there though.
Offer the monitor up in to place and see where the cable reaches across the ceiling. It has to be there .
Check it in the morning in better day light and Im sure you will find it. Dont worry...You will sort it .

Just to add....You can get the Scart block connector attached to the video connector you have but that is for a different set up.
