Hello all. I've been recommended to join you lovely people to help.

My wife Katie and I are keen to see a Autotrail Grand Frontier 7300.

We can't find one for sale just now so we wondered if anyone had one near us, near Alton Hampshire, that perhaps we could take a look at.

We would also be very keen to hear feedback from owners old and current perhaps even of one for sale.

Kindest regards

Steve

If you are looking at A Class van you would do much better looking at German vans. The Frontier was a problematical van that was only made for a very short time it had huge quality problems.

Hi Steve, I'm not sure how many were built, probably less than 50. I seem to remember that Merc upgraded their chassis and they had problems with it. I suppose if you can find one now it will have had all the niggles ironed out and will be fine. And they were a nice looking van, but, if I was looking for an older A Class, it would definitely be German (y) Best of luck :D

Meanwhile welcome to the fun (y)

@Steve Paine.

Welcome to FUN Steve. :)

As much as I really liked the look of the AT Grand Frontier, it certainly wasn't quality built. As the owner and caretaker of an eighteen year old A Class Hymer, I too would advise you to look at German MHs, as well as your chosen Grand Frontier....................should you find one. ;)

Good luck with the search. (y)

Jock. :)
