Can anyone help please... especially Burstner owners... mitzimad jockaneezer other owners are available in different sizes. ..

On the front bumper in the middle is a small red light, (not really noticeable unless you are looking for it.)

When you click your key fob to autolock the doors, there is a click and the little light flashes.. But now mine doesn't.. The locking works but light doesn't. :(

I don't know where any fuse is to check it, or is there something else I should look at?

Thank you.

Sounds like an alarm flashing light, did I remember you have a Strikeback alarm that you had to register with Vanbitz, if so maybe worth contacting them.

I did wonder if it connected to the alarm somehow. Grateful.

Possibly for your alarm it won't be a standard fit. Is your alarm working OK?
No. My alarm not been working properly for long while.. couple of years. The night time internal sensor doesn't switch off. I contacted Van Bitz and someone said push this push that but the bleeps wern't correct so they said I would need to go in. Hundreds of miles away so not been in yet, plus guess it will be expensive.. I will go when possible. I can manage by being careful how I sneak for a wee in the middle of the night.

However, don't think it is that as the light on the bumper worked until about six/seven months ago

Sorry. I'm bit dense. What do you mean please? The bulb?
Yes. It's probably a Light Emitting Diode (LED) if it's really quite small (3 or 4mm across) . Like one of these that are in a surround of some sort. Can be almost any colour

many many years! since I was a kid
Don't worry about it Joy, it is only advertising you have an alarm fitted and set. Will add to battery drain if alarm set in storage. So a bonus if it's failed in one way

Do your indicators flash when you set the alarm?
If not its probably been fitted as an indicator when setting the alarm.
LED's rarely fail more likely to be a problem with the wiring.

Yes the indicators still flash. I think you are right it is the wiring.

But I did have problems with battery drainage as Big1 says, so I'll stop worrying now. :)

Thank you all. I will probably buy an LED at some point.
