Hello everyone! We are a family of 3 from Devon who have just bought first MH (Peugeot boxer wind rush 2000 reg) after years of camping. Very exciting and enjoying getting used to how everything works and happy just sitting in her on the drive with a cuppa and big smiles on our faces!! Planning some travels this year, 🤞. The MH didn’t come with a full instruction manual (i have ones for individual appliances but..) is there one I can for the MH as a whole as be useful to know where everything is located? One issue I have is that the leisure battery isn’t charging from the EHU or the engine battery so any thoughts gratefully received - possibly split charger or connectors to the leisure battery? Anyway, looking forward to chatting with you all and no doubt posting loads of queries and questions!!
😊

Many MH s only come with the individual manuals/instructions for the bits bought in and added.

You might have to post a bit more about your electric set up for help with the charging. Photos of the battery charger and the battery master for example.
I’m not so good with electrickery!

Welcome aboard and welcome to the black hole that is the world of motorhome forums, advice sites and literature - you can lose yourself for hours pursuing an answer to even the simplest question. We're relatively new to motor homing and found this book helpful: https://www.ukmotorhomes.net/reviews/book-reviews/the-motorhome-touring-handbook - but there are many more like it out there. Happy wanderings.

Welcome.
Enjoy your new toy (and, hopefully, freedom)!
Try to resist your enthusiasm to spend more and wait until you have discovered what your essential needs are. You could easily spend all you have (and more) without needing to.

:HelloThere:

Is the leisure battery ok? Have you put a multi meter across it?

Also check the voltage once the engine is running..when hook up on and off.

Look for fuses in and around the battery area..

By the way this is never ending ......but helps keep you sane thru lockdown
