I saw this little beauty parked up in Tesco yesterday so I couldn't help but take a few pics of its taped-up wounds. The van was on a 64-plate so not exactly old.

Is this a sign of naff driving or just damn good adventurous moho fun?

The pics below only depict the left side of the van but when driving off we noted from a distance that the wheel arch on the right side was smashed and hanging off too - at least the owner has no bias as to which side of the van he/she hits :)

To be fair to the owner it appears that he couldn't see where he was reversing as the rear reversing camera had been knocked off yonks ago and only a small piece of rusted bracket remained.

Cheers,

Andrew

Pic-1: Taped-up overcab (nice colours BTW), with a wing mirror that looks as it it's had more than one major battle:

Travel Trolls van ? That Dan bloke seemed to always be bodgeing a repair on the motorhome .

Must cost a fortune in tape - every panel, corner and side was taped.

It looks like a Hobby GE65 Premium ( not as they come out of the factory!)

If the driver did all that damage he/she ought to have their licence revoked.

Come on what funster owns that wreck?

Army tape was super sticky shiny black thin canvas, about 4 inches wide. You could repair armour plating with it! So effective was it that a man on our camp rolled his orange coloured Bond Bug, and almost split it in half. He taped it together with this stuff, and it looked like a giant bumble bee! It was so striking that he left it like that for the duration...

I don’t feel too bad about the white gaffer tape hiding the crack in lower edge of our rear bumper. I carry two colours of gaffer tape to cover most oops.
I remember jungle tape we had in the army. As said it was good stuff used for meany bodges.
