As of today, 23/8/22 minus a few weeks! ( deposit paid, awaiting collection)
Good Morning

We are still getting to grips with how everything works in our Motorhome ( Auto Sleeper Broadway ‘20)
On our first weekend this year after a three month garage repair to front end and also a replacement Sargent control panel which was changed under warranty.
The problem is the heating doesn’t stay on..
I have very limited technical ability but using manual reset it and it gets going again.
Regarding the energy source option on the screen the options are
A gas/fuel
B mix 1
C mix 2
D El 1
E El 2

Now as we on EHU I set this to El1 or El 2
My wife thinks she recalls being told it should be on “mix” on the handover at the dealer.

Is this correct? Would it make any difference?

Very difficult to explain what actually isn’t working right when one doesn’t understand it!

We going out for a bit and leaving it on to keep van warm. Will be interesting to see if still heating when we get back.

Is it a Truma?
You usually use EL1 or EL2 on hook up as you are paying for the leccy. this will be low power or high power depending on what amps your hook up provides.
Mix is usually used to quickly heat up the van or hot water for a short time.
Use Gas when off grid.

Not sure what your system is or type of control panel

If it's a Truma, then even the EL2 has only 1800 watts power (EL1=900w). That's not much and you really should use the mix so it will give more heating by gas when the electricity is not enough. I've had two PVC's and no hope of keeping them at +20c with EL only if outside temp is around freezing.

Good Afternoon
Thanks !
Thankfully it stayed on ok after doing the reset…
Possibly was asking too much of the electric
