Heathrow Terminal 5 Pick Up (1 Viewer)

Have to pick my daughter up from terminal 5 at 11.00ish tonight and just wondered if it’s just a matter of driving in and collecting from outside the terminal?

I know a lot of airports have stopped this and make you go to a car park and pay.

.....and then the police pounce on you. Happened to our son-in-law a couple of months back when picking us up. He got a warning and was then directed to the car park.

Be careful collecting from the drop off upstairs as they do have cameras up there and you may get a letter in the post. If you wear a hard hat and hi viz jacket you might get away with it as there will be contractors in and out at that time of night.

Edit. Don't leave your vehicle unattended what ever you do as it will likely cause a big problem.

Got stung for £12 in the end as her plane was very late in and then waiting for baggage, did manage to use their free charge station and put 5 miles back in the car batteries

Got back home at 2.00am
Back up at 6.00

Got to pick daughter & family up from Gatwick at 11:30pm on Thursday. I will make sure they are there before I drive in, don't mind a warning.
