Is a 300w heat gun powerful enough to remove decals?

Agreed. I tried my heat gun on my old Hymer and it started to lift the paint!

If your not experienced at removing vinyl graphics then you don’t want a powerful heat gun, you need to go softly, softly, especially on surfaces that may actually be vinyl wrapped and not painted, such as many MH rear panels etc

I used to do vinyl decals & sign writing and promotional / stag n hen type t shirts (I still have all the equipment)

Either of the above will do, just be careful with a heat gun and start off quite far away.

Or better still....use it as an excuse to go for a jolly somewhere hot and sunny as they will soften in strong sunlight
