we have had 7 m/'s dating back to the nineties & never ever seen one anywhere on the road or a site have you

Yes, and if you do NEVER approach the new owner and ask how things are going
This particular American RV was a smallish 32 ft Coachman Mirada
Id had it 3 years and prepared it for a 4000mile Tour around Morocco
after spending a small fortune on all new tyres and service items
i was offered a Damon daybreak
a week before departure I sold the Mirada and went in the untried and tested Damon (Mental I know).

Less than six months later I saw the Mirada at a camp site and ask the wrong question (Hi Hows it going)
his list of complaints was endless inc wrong new tyres he had to change half, worn brake pads and rusty discs,
you name it he had to replace it even stuff it never had! ........ go figure .
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Our new Swift Royale 1995, a new 1998 Swift Royale, and a new 2000 Arto are still MOT'd and taxed. Both Swifts had damp in the roof, within a year of us buying, the Arto had 34 faults on delivery (dealer forgot to do the PDI). Never seen the Arto since we sold it but we have seen both Swifts at Brownhills at least 15 years ago.

SORRY need more info.. what was make model of your vans 🤣🤣
ok the one we HATED the most was (waiting for the flack ) was a PVC which we had for 10 months lost £10,000 trade-in & it was the best £10,000 we lost just to get rid . they have about as much room as a match box & cold in winter the others where a class & c/b does that satisfy you

Slightly different tack when we purchased our last moho they had an identical one but that was sold. Turned out they live a mile from us always saw it until they changed vans. My old Burstener was quite noticeable black cab and gold habitation but never seen it about.

We started off with a 2008 Adria Sport 573, then as kids were growing in size, we changed to a 2010 Autotrail Apache 6 berth. When we moved to Wales, this coincided with the kids no longer wanting to holiday with us, and with us having no off-road parking. So we decided to downsize to the PVC we currently have.

The big surprise when we went to a local dealer in Conwy to view a PVC was that they currently had our Adria Sport for sale on the forecourt.

Since then, I've noticed that the registration for the Apache is no longer in use

No,but that’s because we’ve still got our first van, which we bought 5 years ago. Probably won’t ever change it!!!

Only ever seen one of our old cars out and about locally.

We saw our previous Rapido 709F at a MH show being sold by another dealer rather than the one we'd traded it in for (they'd moved it on as they were more into race MHs), whilst stood there another couple said that their friends had just bought it so we gave them our details to pass on in case they had any queries, never heard a peep. 😒

Also saw the ambulance I converted once but it was in a very sorry state as they new owners had neglected it so it was rusting like mad. ☹️

We're only on our second, but would love to come across our first whilst out and about.

From the other side, we parked up on a site in Whitby last year and within an hour a guy came across just to tell us he used to drive our van when it was an ambulance in Manchester. (y)
that was spooky

that was spooky
Well not really we were only on the other side of this very small island, would have been a bit different if we were in a different country.

Didn't see it but our new MH that blew up after 15 miles last year is for sale again at the same place. Asking £2,000 MORE than it was when it blew up and we bought. Well it will have a new engine.

we would love to now if our first m/h was still knocking about its was an imported LHD hymer column change gear stick 4 forward gears F REG ( 1988 )
we bought her in 1999 11 years old but back then it was £13000 from Deepcar Shielfield & sold it 3 years later for the same money after we upgrade her i think it was a 564 same as the photo it only had 1 owner before

I have seen my old Kontiki about locally, I don't know how many owners it has had since me. J reg and still apparently going strong. They didn't leak in those days, roof like a boat deck, we used to use it as a viewing platform at events.

Do you all remember the number plates of your old motors ? I admit I could not say the number of the car on the drive now, let alone old ones.
