I feel so like a Newbie when it comes to buying a new van. Over the years I thought I had some understanding about what to buy and where to buy it but when it came to the crunch I looked at all the available choices and put my cash down on an Adria Matrix from Brownhills of Newark.
Have I made a good decision?

As far as make is concerned, I'd say Definitely. Cant comment on Brownhill as never had any dealings with them. What model have you gone for.

I think you made a good choice. Adria was on our short list for a new van last October, but didn’t find a nearby dealer before we bought ours.

Of course you have......bit late now anyway!
Just get on with enjoying it,you’re bound to have some teething problems but that’s normal.
Enjoy!!:):)

You will soon get feedback on two things.
1. The van
2. The supplier

You hope you can obtain the complete package in so far that you buy a van and if there are ongoing issues your supplier helps to resolve any issues.

If by chance there are any issues with the van .,please please identify them in the first 30 days of supply. This gives you great power in resolution and if it is such a case that you have issues many an expert on this forum will guide you to rejecting the vehicle.

As I understand the first 30 days is the 'golden period' in identifying issues so get the van and pick up any/every fault and put the maters in writing

Have a look at the Consumer Contracts Act 2015 and keep this in your back pocket.

note this part:
The short-term right to reject.

If, when supplied, the goods do not meet the purpose they were bought for, there is a period of 30 days (following purchase or delivery) in which you are entitled to reject them.

In this case, you can claim a refund which must be given without undue delay, and in any event within 14 days of the trader agreeing that you are entitled to a refund.

The days when dealers supplied vehicles to customers and then there were faults claiming it was the manufacture to sort out has gone. If its broken when you buy it or breaks within 30 days its downto the supplier to replace or refund, non of this I will put in a warranty claim
Its straight forward.its down to the supplier for anything that's starts going wrong, I talk from experience.
Just hoping you have no issues and enjoy

bought our Adria Matrix 670 50year anniversary model from Brownhills - had a slight decal problem which was sorted asap. you can only take suppliers as you find them and I have had no problems with Brownhills - however I do think they charge over the top for labour having asked for a quote for a new awning.

We like the Adria quality.

We had an Adria Caravan some years ago which was great.

Hi Derry Wilson, we have bought the Renault Adria Matrix Supreme 687 SBC 150BHP Auto model.
It has an unusual layout with a washbasin in the centre.

Enjoy your new van, is it new new, or new to you?
