Whenever we have visited Blackpool in the car we have always parked on that carpark, so know where stuff is and it would suit us down to the ground, maybe give it a go tomorrowWe have only stayed at THSs in the area (as we were staying several days) but Brian Flower (who is in charge) was always very helpful when I ran my web site.
If you do stay it would be nice to have your views on one of the results of background negotiations with councils over many years![]()
I have rang them ,a very pleasant lady answered, and it is fine, £10 for twelve hours or £12 for 24.We have only stayed at THSs in the area (as we were staying several days) but Brian Flower (who is in charge) was always very helpful when I ran my web site.

Looks to have barriers on, looking at Google Earth? We stayed on Seasiders car park close to the football ground about six weeks ago. Parking is for motorhomes and coaches only.
£12 for 24 hours. No problems whatsoever.![]()
We were at the C&CC THS at St Annes Cricket Club 5 weeks ago. That was also £12 a night. A bit further out (but close to bus routes) but we were staying 4 nights. We stayed on Seasiders car park close to the football ground about six weeks ago. Parking is for motorhomes and coaches only.

They have improved over last time, two fish chips peas ,bread butter pot of tea bread and butter pudding, £21We are here just going to have fish and chips in Harry Ramsdens, havnt been in here since it got took over, went down hill but thought we would give it a whirl
It is, 10 or more spaces ,beach at the back. no facilities but sluice at the promenade car park within the toilets. I have found it quiet midweek (busy weekends) and as there are 2 THS sites in St Annes ( cricket club and AKS school near Fairhaven lake) tend to use this when they are not on.Is that North Beach car park?
The one with the motorhomes in yes.Is that North Beach car park?
THS sites are presumably summer only? Do you book for those, or just roll up?It is, 10 or more spaces ,beach at the back. no facilities but sluice at the promenade car park within the toilets. No they go through the year , more weekend DA meets than holiday sites in winter but the St Annes cricket club is on 7th Dec -4th Jan, have to be careful with weather on grass with a motorhome but St Annes has a fair bit of hardstanding and a clubhouse, I was at Skipton over the weekend on the auction mart which was all hardstanding and loads there (almost 100) . Southport this weekend hopefully. They also vary from booking and just turning up or phone call to see how busy it is but can be checked here. Incidentally the St Annes meet is offering temp membership for £3.50 plus £3 per person.THS sites are presumably summer only? Do you book for those, or just roll up?
Mate the place is dead you wouldn't have to look far for a space today, just no one here and it's bloody cold, we never even stayed out for the lights, went in a karoke pub in a back street to get a warm mostly but there was good singers on, but we are back in the van now.We took the grandkids up to Blackpool in midweek at half-term to see the illuminations in the car. We arrived around 3pm and spent the next 90 minutes trying to find a parking space in the numerous car parks. Probably a bit quieter now but I wouldn't bet on it![]()
At 6pm we took the tram up to the Bispham stop with the intention of walking back to the Tower, having a coffee then a 3 hour drive home. The heavens opened aided by the gale, by the time we'd walked to the next tram stop we were absolutely drenched! We had a vote and out of the 10 of us it was unanimous that we should jump onto the next tram! By 6.40 we were on our way home! That was the night that the Lake District got badly flooded. Having spent 11 years as a postie in W of Scotland I'd never been that wet, it's not as though we weren't dressed for the weather. Saying that we were wet through but not cold as it was a balmy 17 degrees.Mate the place is dead you wouldn't have to look far for a space today, just no one here and it's bloody cold, we never even stayed out for the lights, went in a karoke pub in a back street to get a warm mostly but there was good singers on, but we are back in the van now.
Apparently there is going to be a sort of Xmas market on but it doesn't start till the 19 th so perhaps folks are waiting for that.
That was strictly come dancing at the towerUsed the car parks you are thinking of for daytime early evening parking this last week, one occupied by a film crew but plenty of room in the other, close to the tower. No knowledge of what its like overnight though, seemed very dark when we returned early evening.
