" Blaster bates " Demolition/Explosives man ). he was doing some work at a Crematoriam blowing tree roots out if i remember the yarn. Come dinner break he was asked if he wanted a Pork pie for his dinner,as a lad was going down to the shop for some. " Yes " he said and a few minutes later he was asked... " Do you want it hot or cold ? ". never having tried a Hot pork pie he said Hot after hearing how the juices inside soaked into the crust adding to the flavour.
Along comes his Hot pork pie and he really liked it,he said...." You were right about having it hot,how did you warm it through? " ............ Even as the words left his lips he...KNEW !!! how they had warmed it up.........................................
If you are one of the very few people who have not heard his tales on/from different jobs,there are tapes etc you can listen to. hard to pick a favourite,one springs to mind. A police car caught up with him and started ringing the bell,he glanced down at the Ammeter/charging thingy and knew he was speeding,as it it was charging at 10 volts .
