We're thinking of removing the useless door bin on our Autotrail and making a shoe rack. Thinking of gluing a lightweight pvc panel or two bars of pvc (something like bathroom panel ), then attaching a couple of shoe hangers on these. Hopefully hold two pairs of crocs (that well known fashion statement!) A pair of trainers and slip on shoes. We only use the bin to store the dog lead and a hand brush in at the moment.
Has anyone else done anything similar or can you see any pitfalls with this idea?

Bump - what have others done?

Not sure I’d hang anything on the door, they seem flimsy and vulnerable already and a real bugger to dismantle when (not if, as my door inner has been removed twice before due to lock faults and is due off again as the central locking has stopped working-again😖) they fail and need to be stripped for repairs.

Ive stuck with the bin, but hardly use that either.
