We are at present in France & both got Halifax cards for the trip. Mine is fine, but Mrs N's keeps being declined :(. We reactivated it last night just in case and made sure they had a record that we were here. It hasn't been used yet in the UK. PIN is fine. Has anybody got any advice please, she wants to spend money .

When you find out how you have done it, you will have to let us all know.

If you have a problem with the card you can phone them reversing charges. I always phone them to let them know that I'm going abroad and that's what they tell me. Never had to do it though.

Had no problem with ours , never told them we were going to France last time and it still worked fine.

I always pop into nearest branch or phone them. Goes into their puters so the systems knows you're away from home.

First time for us this last trip, came home yesterday and had used it through Netherlands,Germany and France although I did tell them via the app wherever were. Easiest solution is to ring the number on the back of the card.

she wants to spend money .

Can't help you Chris but I'd like to know how you achieved it and I'm impressed by your apparent attempts to discover why it doen't work, nice subdterfuge.

If you don't want to tell me can you at least do the same to Jackie's card, promise I won't tell anyone.

All sorted now, after a phone call. Thanks @CWH for the numbers (y). and everybody else's help. Sorry, but I've now got another question :D. Now that Mrs. N has discovered she can spend money again, is there anybody over here that could lend me a trailer to get it all back home. ;););):whistle::whistle:
