I found a Habitation Service centre in south Bedfordshire today I did not know was there.
For £198 and three hours work, I was delighted with the detailed report produced by Mathew Jones at this large motorhome centre where they dealt with all aspects of Motorhomes.
Especially interesting to me was their offer to fly you to Italy and include a ferry ticket to bring back a new motorhome from Sienna. You could take a weeks holiday as part of this adventure, only paying your own fuel for the drive back. All this, I was told, for around £300 which seems almost too good to be true.
This company specialises in Motorhome rentals, which seemed very popular on my visit, where small queues of Australians, New Zealanders and Europeans were waiting to pick up or drop off their vans. All this within a stones throw of the M1 near Toddington.
They had a very large number of Motorhomes to rent and several to buy. They also repair, service and generally concern themselves with all things motorhome.
Oh yes, they are called 'Just go' and I was impressed.

Well its a very good deal for them they save 2 grand on transporting the van to the UK and charge you for the air fare and ferry.
They must be laughing all the way to the bank.

If you are going to buy a foreign van far better to buy from a Belgium or German dealer import yourself and save thousands.
Imported our last 3 vans total savings amount to around £45 - £50k

I bought me McLouis from AutoSportmagenta in Milan, brand new with no VAT. Flew over and drove it back, a brand new motorhome for £21,000. I nearly got that for it when I sold it 7 years later.
