Hab door

Morning all, looking for a little advice on my Baileys Autograph hab door, the inboard knuckle of the gas strut is loose and will only get worse, I think I have to remove the fly screen door to access it and there lies my problem, I took out the four screws at the bottom and the frame lifts but won’t come off, before I force anything I need to check that I haven’t overlooked anything, has anyone been there?

You only need to lift the frame by about 10mm so that the mushroom studs line up with holes in the flyscreen. You then should be able to realease the flyscreen inwards.

There is usually a little spring clip on each end of the strut at base of ball if you take that out it will just pull off .

Thanks Alan, the strut wasn’t the problem, the ball end socket on the door frame was but heyho, it’s sorted now, thanks for the reply though
