Following on from the Grip system thread (good thread BTW chaps 
) I remember many years ago when I had a D reg Ducato / Autostratus and I used to have a set of "spiders" that clamped around the wheels. They had 4 grips on arms and could be adjusted from (I think) 15" to 17" wheels.
They pulled me out a couple of times but i must admit that they knocked seven bells out of the plastic wheel trims so I was loathed to use them.
Quite fancy a set for our little Romahome (alloy wheels) if they still exist?
Anyone got anything like it?
