Hi we have a new Motorhome from last year and the grey waste basically trickles out. The fresh water is fine, but the grey has done it from new so shouldn’t be dirty. Any ideas how to speed water coming out? Thanks

Have you had the piping checked by the dealer as it is only a year old and under warranty?
It could be a blockage from when it was assembled.

Have you not got a hatch under the tank so you can stick your hand in there?

If not shove a running hose up the drain pipe, and flush it backward. It could be swarf or the cutout piece from when the tank was drilled for the pipes.

Since Sept 2020.
It could be a build up of grease - try running the hottest water you can get through it for a good while.

Also dissolving some dishwasher tabs in hot water, running that into the closed off waste tank and going for a run to swish it about a bit.

My brother had the same problem on a new van. It turned out to be waste plastic in the tank from when the tank was drilled to fit pipework.

Pipe or drain tap is possibly blocked. My Elddis CV20 has a 28mm hose from the tank then it’s terminated in a 10mm drain tap 😲. I changed it out last week to a 28mm drain tap which solved the issue with slow drain down on grey waste , but to note when I did change it there was a load of crap stuck in the rear of the tap which made it even worse.

Twelve months and still learning.
Plastic swarf is a good bet. When I last cleaned out my freshwater filter there were several pieces of plastic debris on there presumably from the holes cut in the tank during construction.
