Bought our first MH late Summer 2020, '99 Autotrail Arapahoe on a Boxer/Iveco chassis, 8.3m, spent the winter months starting to put things right that the previous owners managed to ignore or bodge. Electrical and damp mainly (understatement). Fortunately we are working our way through and each winter we will continue to replace out rotten timbers.
Have learned so much in this last 9 months or so, will be glad to share my experiences with some of the tasks involved. I try to do as much myself as possible.
Was looking at going to South France in 2021 but with the current carry on with Covid, it's not worth my hassle so we'll stay in UK this year, would like to have a short tour in Scotland or Wales probably.
Family of 7 (kids 5.5.11.16,17) older two not that bothered anymore.
Happy to wild camp and have a self sufficient set up but find that 2-3 days requires an empty n' fill up, which can be limiting at times.
