Just had email from Heritage insurance , it appears due to issues with green cards in Ireland the European Commission has agreed that after 2 August this year Green Cards will no longer be required for travelling in Europe

Yep they agreed months ago to do away with them just hadn't fixed a date.

I think you will still need one for a trailer, if towing?

My insurance paperwork came through today with a non green green card and i notice turkey is not covered which is new as it was last year
