The brief resume of posters. Location, Join Date, Van. All help a lot in offering advice.

It was all there by the avatar once.

1. Is he from Glossop, not worth answering then.

2. Has he just joined, be very kind and gentle.

3. Does he own a certain British van, be particularly kind and gentle.

4. Does he own a Bürstner, treat with utmost respect.

Well, you can't have everything in this life.

And if I don't get everything in the next I'll be bloody cross!

I agree with Brian that the info below avatar,s was interesting, I found myself drawn more to posts from my area of the country, I need now to work out how to change my profile as it appears I live in my compass drifter. ooops, it is not where I live it is my occupation! my wife would agree with that:)

Personally I preferred it the way it was, the information was available if you wanted it with a click (perhaps changing it to a rollover would have been more acceptable). You now have the situation that a one line post can take up half up the half the screen because of the amount and way they have entered the information. (e.g posts from Old-Mo). So you only have 2 posts on the screen

Jim is never going to win on this someone will always want it the other way.

Perhaps a compromise is in order: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and alternate Sundays as now, all other days as before, that should be easy shouldn't it :rofl::rofl:

Could it be made switchable in user preferences similar to the previous style where you could turn off avatars.

I think that this new style is a great improvement on the previous much friendlier on the Phone and Pad(y)(y)

Thank you Sir.

Next time you can't sleep could you consider the tiny grey text we can't see, thanks.

In fact thanks again. Not only really useful but looks so much more familiar.
