GOOD NEWS AT LAST FOR BEER RE AIRE

GREAT NEWS, East Devon District Council, are proposing to allow motorhomes to STAY OVERNIGHT in Cliff Top Long Stay Car Park, Beer ,Devon.

Living very local to this car park I can assure you all that you will not get a better view any where else. Beautiful views of the Jurassic coast line from high on Beer cliffs. Plus the beer is good in Beer.

Not quite when it will come into operation but I will keep you posted .

Beautiful location - but bring lots of levelling chocks 'cos it's a bit hilly around there! I can vouch for the views, I was there yesterday looking down the coast and Portland Bill was clearly visible. Lovely countryside, and a strenuous walk to Branscombe and back as it's a bit hilly!

It will get full of knackered old vans that never move, the rubbish and crap will attract complaints, the envious type will complain too, then this time next year height barriers. ? Make the most of it while you can chaps ??

If its the one below the campsite it is a good spot. However we were there 3 months ago and there were two posh motorhomes using it.

It seems to be an extension of <Broken link removed>. The initiative came about as a result of constructive approaches to the authorities from a number of people over the years (which is normally how these things happen).
