Looking to buy a CO monitor. How to choose? There are so many to choose from. How do I know which are good and which are crap? Hard to tell from the ads. Hoping some funsters may have advice?

Look at the kidde ones on amazon.
Think they are well rated.

We use Fireangel Carbon Monoxide monitor it is a trusted brand. Buy from a reliable outlet.
Phil.

Thanks for the suggestions. Not wishing to be controversial, but what is a "trusted brand ", and what does "well rated" mean? Just trying to get a handle on how to make a genuine judgment about all these different products....

The FireAngel C0 9D is a good one has a digital display gives a readout of CO levels & recommended by the Fire Service. Very good price at Tool Station if you want a white one, also made in silver. I have one in the van and a couple in the house.

Thanks Lenny
Just been on Amazon
Fire Angel CO 9D = £17.30
Fire Angel SD 10 Yr Bat= £13.95
Free Delivery, bit cheaper than Toolstation at the moment, but I agree good quality stuff for domestic market.

Always wise to check prices, last time I bought Tool Station were by far the cheapest, £30 on Amazon at the time & there is a Tool Station not far from us.
