See so many reports/posts/news items about bad behaviour in all walks of life but have you seen some good behaviour or random act of kindness recently

Yep ...stepped onto Zebra Cossing Today when a lout was doing X MPH down village main street and I stood in middle of road .... Fortunately he stopped.
His answer... why the Fiddlesticks you crossing in front of me .. ..did you not see me coming..I said yep Zebra Crossing .. he obviously did not know what I meant.
I really really do despair on this countries future..
And I wonder the ability of today's drivers..👍👍

Yes!

A couple of days ago, when I was trying to turn right out of a side road, the car approaching to my right stopped, the car approaching from my left turning into the side road stopped, as did the car coming up his inside.

I didn’t have enough hands to thank everyone and steer at the same time 😂

While waiting to board a bus in Glasgow the other day an elderly lady with a walker was trying to get her case off the bus, I had to walk by about 10 folk standing watching her to give her a hand. It amazes me these days how folk either don’t notice or don’t care about helping people.

Yes I absolutely agree... !HOWEVER in this day and age how many don't want to get involved..
They might possibly scream.. assault, rape, buggery and the do gooders are prime suspects..

I just had a few days in Devizes and was amazed when I approached the kerb to cross the road cars stopped and waved me across! Even when I was not on a crossing.

It did make me smile

Was at a MH parking spot last September, Sunday morning, beside a bike track with jumps. A mum & dad had brought a child down to have a go on his bike and had sat on a bench in front of my MH, mum on her phone. I made coffee and thought how nice it would be to sit on said bench and have my coffee, but there were people there.

I made a second coffee and noticed that they had moved, so grabbed my cup and sat down - then saw the phone, screen still open, left on the bench. I had to go to the MH and grab flappy flip flops, and chased after the group to return the phone. They had left the MH park and were heading into town on the pavement - my flip flop flapped and I ended up half hopping towards them across the stones of the MH parking area, calling as politely but insistently as I could, with a broken toe post flapping round my foot.

She was very happy to get her phone back when they realised what I had been trying to do. Simple but effective.

I was on my train commute this last half term, a mum and young son were seated opposite me. An older gentleman got on at the next stop, there was standing room only by now. Mum said to her son "Could you stand up to offer your seat to this gentleman?". Son immediately did so with good grace and the gentleman sat and proceeded to make conversation with them, asking about their day out in London. After a very pleasant chat with mum and the young lad, he gave mum a business card - turns out he's some senior person at London Zoo. He said to them both that they were very welcome to visit London Zoo next time they are in London on him, and be explained how they were to call his office before visiting so tickets would be made available for them. The young lad was so happy, it was an absolute pleasure to see.

Whenever there is enough snow/ice to stop the buses running my husband goes out in the 4x4 and picks up as many people as he can and takes them to work .
Think is more that he loves ‘playing out’ in the car 😂

Went in the social club for a beverage (or threeish) last night Millie (my yorkie) was wandering around saying hello to everyone, she headed to the beer garden where they have a dog bowl, Angie the barmaid asked if I would prefer a bowl inside for her, I declined but it was a nice gesture (me and Millie have mobility issues) there are some nice people about.

I was in the supermarket on Friday morning… 4th in the Q, lady at the till was paying for her shopping, had forgotten her phone so was using cash but didn’t have enough so was taking stuff out of her trolley for the equivalent balance… said excuse me to the folks in front and went to her and said “let me pay the difference ” (it was just under £5) …. A good deed makes you feel good 👍🏼

One of my 46y old son-in-law’s dying wishes was to encourage people to be kind to others. So as mourners left the crematorium yesterday they were handed a Mars Bar and asked to give it to someone to cheer them up. 🙂
Unfortunately it was a hot day and combined with all of the hugs mine was quite soft by the time I got home, so it has spent the night in the fridge.

Just sat having a drink in south of France . A teenager dropped his pot of money (coins) picked then up and walked off. He had missed a one Euro coin. A young French picked it up a chased after them . Didnt look like she got much thanks but she will have felt better. If you do one good deed a day it makes you smile.

After chatting in the till queue in Morrisons I paid for a lovely gentleman's shopping without him knowing I had done it. It wasn't much but I really enjoyed my time chatting to him and thought why not. I got in my car and someone banged on my window pointing to the man coming at me across the car park. I thought he was really pissed off as he was calling and waving. He was a bit flustered, breathless and teary (which is not good) but said no one had spoken to him for a while as he had no close family and he had never had anyone be that kind in ages! Won't do that again, as it's not nice seeing a pensioner cry or look like he is going to keel over!🙈

So very sorry for your loss. Your son in law sounds one of the gems of our country
