thank you DWelcome from Ciren!
Look at as many ‘vans as you can with a fixed bed, and then see what (might!) suit you best…..
thanks for the update the rapido looks like a well fitted out homeThe grand frontier was never a popular van when they made it first time and the new version of it didn't seem to get good reviews. Poor payload seemed an issue as well.
Personally I would look at more popular and common models.
Hymer, rapido, Burstner, etc
Now see you have had a Pilote much better.
Yes I like the Rapido HymersWelcome from Ciren!

thank you so much for your insight I will take your advice and look at the Rapido regards davidWelcome David
My own experience of motorhome ownership is this, in 2018 we purchased a brand new Autotrail Comanche, lovely van tbh and it looked after us pretty well for 3 years until I got the A class itch.
Autotrail at that time we’re on the brink of launching their new A class, the GF88 and we went over to Grimsby for a pre launch look at it. First impressions were it was very caravanny and not as good as our Comanche.
We went to look at our now owned Rapido i1090 A class and yes it was £16k more but it’s £160k better build quality/layout.
We’ve yet to use it in anger across the water but hoping that changes come Sept.
Would I have another Autotrail? I suppose I would yes if I couldn’t afford anything better but fortunately I can and this Rapido is head and shoulders better in every respect.
Good luck in your search
That’s true of quite a few motorhomes i’d have thoughtFrom experience and that of friends when looking at Rapidos check payload some models were dire to say the least on a 3.5t van.
Everything is in short supply at the moment. By older N&B I mean 10 years plus, sadly the newer stuff isnt as good along with many other manufacturers, although some is just as crap as it ever was.yes the more I look at them they look great however they really are expensive do you know of anyone selling one? regards D
