Glen Nevis. Fort William and Ben Nevis Walk

Is that by the big car park but over the road.

Lots of grass pitches.

No. On the advice of poppycamper we did the north face path on Saturday. Lovely walk and much quieter than the Ben. 14 miles . I have done Ben Nevis previously and was put off by the forecast
Yesterday I walked up to Dun Deardail fort. Fantastic views. Just over an hour from the site.

Don't blame you with the weather. Was blowing a real storm when we was there. Have a great trip

Stayed at that site a few years ago when we did Ben Nevis. It was April temperature in the 20's had to go over quite a bit if snow towards the top, beautiful clear day.
Grueling walk not one I would want to do again.

Totally agree only once. It's a challenge I found coming down the hardest part

Yep, really does your knees & ankles in.

Mount Olympus in Greece is a much nicer walk even if it is harder.

The area is great for walking but the trail up Ben Nevis is not for the infirm.
If you still want to get up on Nevis range but can't make the walk take the gondola on the North side.
Some excellent viewing points.
Our dog is past the full walk up to the summit so we took him up in the cable car in May.
