Gifting data for EU use

Ok so I have 60gb of data and as EE only let you use 19gb data abroad I was wondering if I gift Mrs Westy 20gb of data, does that mean we have 19gb data EACH for EU use? Mrs Westy only has 2gb on her plan as Candy Crush doesn’t use that much? TIA

I have a 100gb EE sim in my phone, so not just a data sim.

I use the Hotspot function so my wife can share my data, I sometimes use as much as 75gb when downloading stuff via tethering my laptop when in Europe.

It doesn't seem to matter how I use my data.

Ever thought of changing provider?. We have 100gb with vodaphone with no limits when using abroad.

Vodaphone coverage not so good at home or work, neither is O2?
