What road atlas would you recommend for Germany I have looked on flea bay but nothing is jumping out at me I have a 25 year old one from trucking days but pages are falling out and it must be out of date by now so was going to get a new one.

I know you can look on google maps etc on tablets or phones but I like to have a map to look through just find it easier, so have you got one you ordered of the internet or would I get a better more detailed one from a service station when I get into Germany.

I want a decent one page by page not a fold out map that will cover my A class dashboard when trying to look at it

Be careful which one you buy, we got a really 'good' one with lots of detail and a good ratio BUT it is ruddy heavy and the amount of detail on it makes it difficult to see the flipping roads!

UK ... I'll have a rummage around later and see what it is, and the one we got as a replacement! :D

Does anyone know what the roads around Hamburg are like now. We were in mammoth traffic jams last year. Thanks

For any country, unless somebody could convince me that there is a better one, I would go for a large-scale Michelin. So much more information on topography, things do and see etc. that one gets more out of one's touring for years, for a few Euros more.
