German Christmas markets (1 Viewer)

We are heading south from Norway in a month and have to visit some people in UK, but on the return plan calling into some Germany Christmas markets at the end of November early December.
Does anyone have any experience of good markets up in the north of Germany, say Munster / Hanover and north from there, seems like like most if not all those advertised are in the south.
Presume we will take Stena Line crossing from Harwich to the Hook and head over and up from there.

They are all good to experience for the first time.

Its about 6-7 years since we last visited these markets, have also lived in Germany before we were married but there seems to be nothing actively advertised up north.
