Gemini Alarm

Hi There

I have a Gemini 931 THM alarm system fitted to my motorhome.

Does anyone out there know how to reset the system after an activation?

At the moment each time I turn the ignition off there are 6 bleeps indicating that one of the magnetic door contacts has been activated.

You should have a tiny 2 pin fob to insert in a small 2 pin hole, probably on your dashboard

Hi Thanks for the information, I have downloaded the instructions but can't seem to find how to reset after an alarm activation.

I do have the 2 pin fob and the hole for it is on the dash, but again unsure as to what to do.

Does anyone have practical experience of how to reset?

I would think that each time you use the alarm it clears the previous alarm sounding. I am thinking that it’s beeping could be telling you that the magnetic door contact is not operational, or is in the open position.

I have check the other door contacts and all are working fine, still at a loss.

I don't want to start to use the 2 pin fob for fear of deleting other devices.

When you say they are working do you mean that the light flashes on operation of the door? of that the door sensor triggers the alarm?

It’s possible that either could be the cause, but the first is an easy test the second takes more time and involves making lots of noise.

Assume you are also checking all doors, as they can/are fitted to garage, habitation, and even gas locker, or any other. Potentially bonnet may come as door in its description too.

Using the 2 pin fob won’t delete anything, it’s just a backup device incase of remote battery lose or signal problems.

I must be missing something here.

Tested all the contacts and bonnet switch, all working ok.

Inserted 2 pin fob into socket on dashboard system beeps, but every time I switch off the ignition the 6 beeps are still activating.

System still works as it should but the beeps are annoying.

Reading the instructions for your alarm informs me that the X amount of beeps when disarming the system tell you what caused the activation.
You say you are getting 6 beeps when you turn your ignition off. Not when disarming the system. So the 6 beeps are not warning you of previous activations, but something else.
